WELCOMING YOU TO THE JEWISH COMMUNITY OF THE ALGARVE

The Jewish Community of the Algarve (JCA) was officially registered as the 4th Jewish Community in Portugal in January 2022. However, our activities started some years before the official recognition as a non profit and religious association by the State of Portugal. Since 2019 the Jewish Community Algarve is re-establishing the ever Jewish presence in the Algarve, Southern Portugal.

The JCA offers a unique young & dynamic atmosphere whilst combining religious & social activities.

The Algarve nowadays is home to many Jewish families who have immigrated to this part of the world

from the U.S., France, Israel, South Africa and the U.K, giving the Community the blessing of a rich variety of different backgrounds.

CATERING

During your stay in the Algarve there is no need to worry about Kosher food. Ezras Kosher Kitchen provides for delicious take away meals during the week or Shabbath.

We also cater for events and gatherings.
