The Little Maccabees Kids Club is a place where Jewish children can laugh, learn, and grow together. Through exciting games, creative projects, and meaningful holiday celebrations, kids discover the joy of Jewish traditions in a way that feels fun and welcoming. Our goal is to build friendships, spark curiosity, and create sweet memories that last.
Meet The Team
Aly Vengoechea is an education leader with over a decade of experience working with children of all ages. Coming from the United States, where she worked as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and edtech curriculum developer, Aly has a passion for creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences for children. She is excited to bring her experience and expertise to the JCA with the launch of our children's program, Little Maccabees.
Mazy Khan (Cohen) is a devoted and inspiring educator with over 12 years of experience teaching children from a young age. She brings warmth, patience, and creativity to every lesson, helping each child learn in a way that suits them best. Mazy teaches Hebrew and religious studies with joy and enthusiasm, nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning. Her greatest joy is guiding children to discover their talents, grow in confidence, and develop skills and values that last a lifetime.
Leah Luisa Yitshaik co-founded and directed a Montessori nursery in London and now brings her wealth of creativity and experience to our Kids Club. She specializes in the creative and organizational side of the program, shaping marketing and outreach.
Her love of baking and the arts adds a warm, personal touch to her work, inspiring joyful and imaginative experiences for the children. Leah also holds a Master’s degree in Marine Science, reflecting her curiosity and passion for learning.
